U.S. and Canada Strengthen Security Partnership at Cross Border Crime Forum

The administration continues to build on the “Roadmap for a Renewed U.S.-Canada Partnership from 2021.

The Department of Homeland Security announced that President Biden’s administration is advancing shared goals after holding the U.S.-Canada Cross Border Crime Forum in Washington, D.C., this month.

The department stated, “The United States (U.S.) and Canada have a longstanding and enduring security, law enforcement, and intelligence partnership that is centered on protecting public safety, consistent with rights protected by law.“

DHS continued, “Building on the success of previous CBCF meetings, including the Statement of Partnership to Prevent, Investigate, Prosecute, and Disrupt Cross-Border Crime, which was signed at last year’s meeting.“

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For wisdom for the U.S. leaders and officials collaborating to protect public safety and uphold justice.
  • For U.S. federal personnel to be discerning as they seek to continue security cooperation with Canada.
